Myogi and the Myogi Furusato Museum of Art will be reborn as the Myogi Visitor Center, and this exhibition will look back at the history of both museums and their collections, and introduce a part of the Tomioka City art collection from a new perspective. This year's exhibition will be held at the Tomioka City Museum of Art and the Myogi Furusato Art Museum. About 30 paintings will be exhibited, including works by representative local artists and those depicting the landscape of Tomioka in the collection of the Museum of Art, and works depicting Myogi in the collection of the Furusato Museum of Art. We hope that visitors will enjoy the works with a peaceful feeling as if they were taking a leisurely stroll in the city while thinking about the scenery and history of Tomioka.
